The publishers of Australia’s first combined gay and lesbian wedding magazine, Same Same Weddings, are holding another fabulous Same Same Weddings Expo in Brisbane this month which will feature a georgous pop up lesbian wedding.
Brisbane couple Emma and Cait will tie the knot in front of 30 of their friends and family, with expo attendees invited to share the love. Emma and Cait met six and a half years and have three beautiful children together. Emma entered the Same Same Wedding Expo pop up wedding competition, writing that she wants the opportunity to “show the world what she (Cait) means to me.”
The last Same Same Weddings Expo in April was a huge success, with Julz Fullerton from Paddington Publications saying the team were “so happy with the amazing response.”
“We had hundreds of couples join us and we received some great feedback from everyone. We heard how much they loved knowing that all of the vendors and providers at the expo were accepting and inclusive.”
The free expo, which will be held on Sunday August 26 from 10am to 3pm at 107 Milton Road, Milton, will feature traditional exhibitor stands as well as a unique 'mix and mingle’ concept. This will give couples the chance to meet the best of South-East Queensland’s wedding industry and chat to them about their wedding plans in an informal, relaxed and all-inclusive environment.
Emma and Cait’s wedding will be held at 3.15pm and you can just turn up to the expo on the day or register via their Facebook event page to receive a free SSWExpo Bag on the day and go into the draw to win your wedding featured in an upcoming online edition of Same Same Weddings Magazine.
