It feels like every Aussie same-sex couple I know is getting hitched and luckily, some big players in the bridal magazine market are here to help everyone plan their big days.
The Same Same Weddings team says the magazine is “dedicated to celebrating love, featuring same-sex weddings, commitment ceremonies, proposals, engagements and love stories that have taken place in Australia and beyond.”

The magazine is also a directory, featuring almost 800 Australian and international businesses who proudly support marriage equality and are more than happy to help create the perfect celebration of your love.
"They've (advertisers) jumped on board because they want people to know they're welcome to contact them and be treated just like everyone else who contacts them," publisher Kerrie Gowenlock told the abc.net.au.
"It's keeping an environment for everyone to feel the same as everyone else and that's why we called it Same Same Weddings because that's all they've (same-sex couples) ever wanted, was to be treated the same."
The launch issue celebrates beautiful same-sex weddings and commitment ceremonies that took place before Australia said yes, and features inspiring real-life proposals and love affairs that will make you re-think how much effort you're putting into your own relationship. There are beautiful photo shoots and expert tips on grooming, choosing a makeup artist and planning the perfect bucks or hens night.
